WELCOME TO HAIDA GWAII SERENITY WARRIORS

Haida Gwaii Serenity Warriors (HGSW) is a team of men and women with lived experience and training who are dedicated to promoting healing in the communities of Haida Gwaii. The communities of Haida Gwaii are largely indigenous and have been deeply impacted by the effects of colonization and intergenerational trauma. HGSW is a safe haven to unwind the mind and focus on wellness. HGSW implements personalized treatment plans within it's facilities to the people of Haida Gwaii. HGSW treatment plans are designed to address the spiritual, mental, physical and cultural needs of each individual. HSGW assists clients with personal recovery, provides long-term affordable housing, and supports individuals with reintegrating into their community. Our Facilitator, Director and founder of HGSW, David Emerson has a passion to set up support group programs in communities for individuals that does not have opportunity to leave their hometown for treatment.
